Allotina Houses

Patmos, Dodecanese
s t a y

Allotina Houses is a hidden neighborhood of seven traditional houses spread out on the east part of Patmos and two and a half kilometers away from Skala in the Sapsila settlement.  Their name is directly associated with the island’s history, since “Allotina” was the name of the settlement that was created in Chora by the families that reached the island after the fall of Constantinople in 1453.  Among their main characteristics are the unblocked view to the sea and their traditional decoration, based on a palette of earthly shades and the architectural style of Patmos.

Each one of the seven traditional houses offers to its guests a panoramic view to the Aegean Sea and all the amenities of a modern residence.  There are five studios and two more spacious apartments, some of them on ground floor and some of them on first floor, fully equipped and organized so they can make the life of the travelers easier.  Wooden furniture and windows, tall iron beds and attic style ceilings, create an atmosphere of absolute relaxation. In this vacation “home” of theirs, travelers can choose between a breakfast buffet at “Patmos Aktis Suites & Spa” hotel or being served their own breakfast choices at their Aegean Sea view veranda.
